A story they can hear, see and wonder about
Storywithkido brings together spoken narration, illustrated pages and readable captions. Your child can follow the pictures while listening, or you can pause to read a favourite line together. It is story time in your browser, with room for a question, a giggle or one more look at the picture.
Begin with The Little Seed of Kindness, our published free picture-story sample. The library is growing. Concept previews on the homepage describe future stories; they are not part of the published collection yet.
Listen or explore at their own pace
Choose Listen to follow the storyteller’s path, or Explore to take more time with the choices available in that story. Pause, replay, adjust sound or use quiet reading. Stories work on phones, tablets and computers; try the sample on the device your family uses.
Little lessons worth talking about
A kind action, a patient friend or a brave first step can give you something to discuss after a story. Ask your child what a character chose, how someone might have felt and what they would try. Stories invite conversation rather than promising a particular learning result.
