The service
Storywithkido provides access to published digital picture stories and optional features, with memberships and credit packs as described on the plans page. Free accounts and a published picture-story sample are available. The library is growing; concept previews and planned video collections are not a promise that those stories are available today. Live paid checkout opens after store activation.
Adult accounts and permitted use
You must be an adult legally able to agree to these terms to create an account or make purchases. You are responsible for your account credentials and for supervising your family’s use. Use accurate account and billing details. Do not share access commercially, resell stories, scrape private content, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing material.
Stories are licensed for your personal family use. Storywithkido and its licensors retain rights in the service and story content. Availability, features, and supported languages vary by published story.
Photos, questions, and AI features
Only upload a child’s photo if you are their parent or guardian, have the necessary authority and consent, and have rights to the image. You retain your rights in uploads and authorize their processing only as needed to provide the requested feature. You can remove a photo and its saved personalized pictures in the parent dashboard.
Personalization applies only to eligible picture stories. AI pictures and answers can contain mistakes, may vary between requests, and require adult judgement. Ask is an optional story feature, not professional advice. Do not submit sensitive personal information or rely on an answer for health, safety, legal, or financial decisions. Memberships, renewals, and credits
Prices are stated in US dollars unless checkout says otherwise. Checkout shows the final amount, including any applicable taxes and valid discount. Monthly memberships renew automatically at the checkout price until cancelled. A one-time discount applies only to the charge indicated at checkout.
Monthly picture and Ask allowances reset after confirmed payment for each billing period and do not roll over. Purchased pack balances are tracked separately and remain until used while your account remains open, subject to refunds or billing corrections. Picture credits are charged per generated personalized illustration; the app shows a quote before generation. Failed generations and their retries do not spend additional credits. Ask usage measures recorded question audio and generated answer audio; reading and replaying existing stories do not consume picture credits.
Payments, cancellation, and refunds
Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment receipts, and subscription billing as merchant of record. Manage or cancel a membership through the billing portal linked from your parent dashboard or Lemon Squeezy receipt. See our refund and cancellation policy for the 14-day request window, review criteria, and cancellation effects. Your applicable statutory rights and Lemon Squeezy’s payment terms are not overridden by these terms.
Availability and account restrictions
We may update the service, fix errors, and restrict access that breaches these terms or threatens other users. We aim to provide a reliable service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that AI results will meet every expectation. Contact us if paid features are unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy, updates, and contact
Our privacy policy describes how information is processed. Newsletter subscription is optional and separate from account creation. We will post revised terms here and provide notice of material changes where appropriate. Contact support@storywithkido.com for questions, account issues, or complaints.
